{24th of July}

I have been so bad lately at posting. We have been doing fun things almost everyday, but how many pictures can you post of the splash park? But, I had my camera charged and ready for the twenty fourth of July. As most of you know it is a huge deal here in Saint Anthony. We started the day by going to the parade, and then headed over to my Grandma and Grandpa Daniels for our annual twenty fourth get together. She lives right on the river so every year we eat lunch and then float the river. This year my Aunt Lisa brought a canoe and everyone had lots of fun paddling around Grandma's house. Most of my Aunts and Uncles were there, but unfortunately we were missing lots of cousins because of various family reunions and such, and of course Che was in Texas. It just wasn't quite the same without all off you.

Anyway, we had a fun day hanging out at Grandma's and then that night we went to the sand dunes. While we were there we had a sand dune first. The sand was so dry and soft that both of the pickups got super stuck. When Neil got stuck first we just all kind of laughed because it is Neil and he tends to do stuff like that, but then when dad got stuck we really did start getting a little concerned. Have no fear though Judd the Dud came to the rescue. He left on the four wheeler and came back in a tractor. It was pretty funny. We ended the night with sparklers, and finally took lots of tired, sandy kids home to bed. It was a fun day and was so good to see all of the fam. Oh and a little side note the night before Carl, Me, and my Aunts went to Mamma Mia. If your house was like our house and always rocking the Abba music you will love it. We all laughed so hard.

Check out those orange life jackets. You would think no one would want to wear the hideous things,but of course it turned into a huge fight because there was only two. (Avery, Carter, Ryan)

Here is Lynn and Hadley paddling the little kids around.

Oh Linda, Linda, Linda she would not move her hand so I had no choice but to put this on the blog. :)

Dad and Carter. Carter asked Dad if the tractor had air bags, because he isn't allowed to ride in front of cars with air bags. I don't even think that Dad knew the answer. It was so cute and funny.

{Are we rednecks yet?}

We went to the crash derby on Saturday with our good friends James and Bree, and Chris and Amy (whom I don't have any pics of because I stole these from Bree) It was so much fun. Bree had never been to one. I think she continues to be more and more frightened at how much she enjoys being a REDNECK! We all loved it and had fun betting on which car would win. (we were never right) We had a good time and are planning to attend as many as we can, but next time we will be wearing Joe Dirt wigs. It should be a pretty good time. :)

I turned 24 on the 9Th. It was a really fun day. My mom, Carl, and Melanie took me to lunch. Then we went to Mason's first soccer game (that post will come later), and after Neil took me to dinner. Then on Sunday we had ice cream cake at my grandma and grandpa Daniels, and followed up with a camp out at grandma Suey's. (it was just a hot dog roast, but my kids thought we were camping.) All in all it was a fun birthday. My cute friend Alyssa even put a special post on her blog for me. It was the best gift. All of my other friends and family also did such sweet things, and made it a very fun day. THANK YOU !

Mason (another funny Mason story. A couple of days after my bday I was pulling the kids behind the bike, and Mason asked what he should get me for my birthday. I told him that I just wanted him to be a good boy. He thought about it for a minute and said that he thought he should get me something. Then responded with "Do you need a new toothbrush." I told him that would be great he could get me a toothbrush. After another minute he said, "You will have to buy it and then I will wrap it in paper, and put a bow on it.")

{Sprinklers, Sandbar, and Sparklers}

This is one post that is FULL of pictures. (sorry) We had lots of fun the week leading up to the fourth and on the fourth. Neil's brother was here from CO with his family, and so we played a lot. We had a fun day running through the sprinkler, and then swimming at the good ol' sandbar. We also had a fun fourth. It was the Steinmann reunion so some of Nic's cousins were here. I am very close to them, and was so excited to see them.

I took the kids to the splash park with some friends, and Mason had a little bit of a dramatic reaction to the cold water. (Don't mind my squeaky voice)
